Today, November 26, 2021, marks 13 years since the dreadful incident of the 26/11 Mumbai attack has left a scar in the minds and hearts of survivors and their families.

It was the evening of 26 November 2008. India's teeming financial and entertainment capital was in the throes of one of the most shocking terror attacks the world had ever seen.
Ten heavily-armed militants, all Pakistani nationals, had arrived by sea in the evening, split into groups, hijacked vehicles and attacked targets, including the main railway station, two luxury hotels, a Jewish cultural centre and a hospital. The 60-hour siege of the city had left 166 dead and soured ties between India and Pakistan.Security forces killed nine of the terrorists and captured one after three days of operations in multiple places in the metropolis.
It had been 13 years of the attack yet the tears roll down. The unexpected and terrible happening had thrown the life of many. The 4 days attack was encountered in Mumbai, but the pain was felt by each and every Indian.
To the martyrs of 26/11, we honour and salute your unfathomable courage, for we should never forget all of those who suffered for our peace.
Indian President Ram Nath Kovind, on Friday, paid tributes to the martyrs and homage to the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. He said that India will always be grateful to the security personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
"My heartfelt tributes to the martyrs and homage to the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. The nation will always be grateful for the bravery and sacrifice of the security forces who laid down their lives in the line of duty," President Kovind tweeted.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, too, paid tributes to those who lost their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.
"Heartfelt tributes to those who lost their lives in the Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks and salute the courage of all the security personnel who bravely faced the terrorists in the cowardly attacks. The whole nation will remain proud of your bravery. A grateful nation will always be indebted to your sacrifice," Shah tweeted in Hindi.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also remembered the martyrs of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
He shared a two-minute video of the pictures of all the martyrs who gave the supreme sacrifice in the attacks that shook the country's financial capital Mumbai on this day in 2008.
Also Akshay Kumar, Ranvir Shorey, Anupam Kher and other Bollywood celebrities paid tributes to those who lost their lives in the Mumbai attacks.
Lets pay homage to all the precious lives lost during the terrible Mumbai Terror Attack of 26/11 and salute the sacrifices and courage of our heroes.
