In a startling incident that unfolded in Guwahati, a young man originally from Jharkhand fell victim to a honey-trapping fraud scheme in the city. The individual in question, identified as Raj Kiran, was residing in Parlay Residency, a residential complex situated in Jayanagar, Guwahati.
According to reports, Raj had entered into a relationship with a woman from Delhi and they began living together. However, their relationship took a sinister turn as the woman began demanding a substantial sum of money from Raj.
The accused woman allegedly sought over Rs. 1 crore from Raj, which eventually raised concerns within his family. It should be noted that Raj was confined to his residence by the woman and her associates, who also confiscated his phone to prevent him from reaching out to anyone.
