After an 11 days battle with COVID-19, Abhijit Gupta passes away at 68
Silchar's Malugram based Abhijit Gupta was admitted into Silchar Medical College and Hospital on the 4th of this month and 11 days to his admission, he passed away at the age of 68 .
Among his family members, he is survived by his wife, Sudipta Gupta , son Abhishek Gupta, daughter-in-law Asmita Gupta, brothers Biswajit Gupta , Arijit Gupta, nephews Biswadeep Gupta , Souradeep Gupta and Dr. Arindam Gupta, niece Abhipriya Gupta among other relatives and well-wishers .
It has been informed by the Vice-Chancellor of SMCH , Dr. Bhaskar Gupta that currently there are three patients in the hospital's COVID ward. Further, no patient is in oxygen support or under ventilator , as informed by Dr. Gupta.
