After Barak Valley, another Barbaric attack at an on-duty Health Worker at Hojai

The people of Assam have witnessed a heart-wrenching incident where a doctor was allegedly beaten up badly by the Police in Cachar District itself. This is one of the many assaults that doctors have been facing recently.

Similarly, another incident took place in Udali Model Hospital, Lanka. A doctor named Seuj Kumar Senapati had joined the hospital as a part of his one year rural posting. According to him, he had been working in the covid ward for 2 days now. His shift starts at 1:30 pm. As soon as his shift started, he heard a complaint from an attendee of a patient that the patient has not been urinating since morning. Hence he grabbed a catheter and rushed to the patient, only to find that the patient was already dead.

In no time, the attendees of the patient started creating a havoc in the hospital, thrashing down the property of the hospital. Then, the attendees started beating the doctor inhumanely, with no mercy. The doctor has some bad injuries on his body and is in pain.

The doctors, our frontline heroes haven't done anything to face this kind of treatment from the people. It's a shame on all those people, who, instead of respecting them, are beating the doctors up.
