Alleged murder of young man in Silchar sparks controversy and calls for investigation

A sense of shock and controversy has enveloped the locality of Adi Shivbari Road in Silchar following the suicide of a young man named Sanjeev Dushad. Sanjeev, aged approximately 21, was a resident of Chotojalenga in Cachar district.

According to reports, Sanjeev was working in a bookstall warehouse on Adi Shivbari Road near Silchar Public School. His father recounted to the media that they received the tragic news around 1:30 PM on Tuesday that Sanjeev had taken his own life. Upon receiving this information, Sanjeev's parents, family members, and the police rushed to the scene.

Later in the evening, in the presence of a magistrate, Sanjeev's body was sent to Silchar Medical College for an autopsy. Meanwhile, Sanjeev’s family has raised serious allegations, claiming that it was not a suicide but a premeditated murder. They have called for a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind Sanjeev's death.
