Amul milk prices increase by Rs 2 per litre across India

Guwahati, June 3: The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), the organization behind the popular Amul brand, has announced a price increase for all variants of Amul milk.Effective from Monday, the price of Amul milk will rise by Rs 2 per litre across the country.

This decision comes in response to the increasing costs associated with the operation and production of milk. The GCMMF has cited these rising expenses as the primary reason for the price hike.

Consumers nationwide will now see a Rs 2 increase per litre in the price of their Amul milk pouches. This adjustment reflects the ongoing challenges faced by the dairy industry, including higher costs of cattle feed, transportation, and other operational expenses.
