Bhanita Hira Das, the Cultural Development Officer of Dibrugarh and Sonari, has been suspended from service due to her absence at the ‘Khring Khring Bathou Puja’ of the Sonowal Kachari Community and her inability to recite the state anthem properly. The Director of Cultural Affairs, Meenakshi Das Nath, issued the notice suspending the Officer.
