Other Criteria of APDCL Recruitment

Residentship: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and a permanent resident of Assam.

PRC: Candidates must produce a PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates should have proficiency in Assamese or the local language.

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 and 38 years old as of 01-01-2024.

Age Relaxation:

SC/STP/STH: 5 years

OBC/MOBC: 3 years

PWBD: 10 years

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university with at least 55% marks.

- For departmental candidates and those belonging to SC/ST, the minimum qualification marks in a bachelor’s degree is 50%.

Computer Proficiency: Candidates should possess proficiency in computer applications and have a diploma certificate in computer application with a minimum duration of 3 months.

Employment Exchange Registration:Candidates must be registered in any of the employment exchanges of Assam.

Small Family Norms: Candidates have to submit a declaration regarding "The Small Family Norms" in Form-A at the time of applying.
