As you make your bed, so you must lie on it : Animesh Bhuiya murder case

The main accused in the Jorhat mob lynching case, Neeraj Das alias Kolalora died in a road accident last night. Das met with an accident while trying to escape police custody.

Officer-in-charge of Jorhat Sadar Police Station, Sidananda Bora informed media that Neeraj had agreed to provide information on drug peddlers and certain locations.

At about 1:30 AM last night, as he was taken to identify the drug peddlers, Das tried to escape by jumping from the police vehicle. However, he was hit by the second police vehicle that lost control. The accident happened at Cinnamara, on the Jorhat-Mariani Road.

Three police personnel were also injured in the accident. All were rushed to the Jorhat Medical College and Hospital, where Kolalora was declared dead.
