Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma unveiled the striking new Shraddhanjali Flyover in Guwahati’s Zoo Road on social media platform 'X' with great excitement. Sharing captivating drone shots of the elevated structure, CM Sarma announced that the flyover would officially open to the public tomorrow, on October 19.
In his post, CM Sarma highlighted the rapid transformation of Guwahati's skyline, emphasizing the city's ongoing progress. He stated, "Guwahati’s skyline is undergoing a rapid transformation. The Shraddhanjali Flyover will be dedicated to the people tomorrow."
The Shraddhanjali Flyover is a vital infrastructure project designed to enhance the daily lives of Guwahati citizens. It is expected to alleviate traffic congestion significantly and improve connectivity along RG Baruah Road for the next two decades. Named after Shradhanjali Kanan, a popular park located at Zoo Road, the flyover promises to bring ease and convenience to commuters, reflecting the government's commitment to enhancing urban mobility and connectivity in the region.
