The 25th annual session of the Assam Higher Secondary Teachers and Employees Association will be held on August 18 at the Dhola Baman Nityananda Multipurpose Higher Secondary School.
The session will focus on discussing six major demands from teachers, with comprehensive arrangements already made by the reception committee.
Notable attendees will include newly elected MP Parimal Shukla Baidya, Assam University Vice-Chancellor Rajeev Mohan Pandey, and educators from nearly every district in the state.
The conference will also involve the formation of district and state committees. This significant event highlights the ongoing efforts to address key issues faced by teachers and staff and will serve as a platform for further advocacy and organizational development.
District Committee President Dipak Sengupta and Secretary Paritosh Dey announced these details during a recent press conference.
