Assam : HS & HSLC exams marking schemes finalized.

Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu will announce the decisions on Monday after getting approved by the chief minister.

The high-power committees constituted to formulate the marking schemes for higher secondary 2nd year and high school leaving certificate (HSLC) examinations candidates under Assam boards have submitted their final reports.

The class 10 and 12 exams under Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) and Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) respectively were cancelled in view of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The committee under the chairmanship of former vice chancellor (VC) of Dibrugarh University Dr Alok Buragohain was constituted to formulate the marking of HSLC exams.

Another committee under the chairmanship of vice-chancellor of Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies University Deepak Kumar Sharma formulated the marking pattern for HS exams.
