Assam Police nab notorious fraudster Bappa Dey in Guwahati for duping people

In a significant development, the Assam Police successfully apprehended a notorious fraudster, identified as Bappa Dey, from the Arjyanagar locality. The arrest comes following multiple cases registered against Dey for alleged fraudulent activities and kidnapping charges in various police stations across Guwahati.

Sources reveal that Bappa Dey faced charges of duping individuals through deceitful practices, with FIRs lodged against him at Chandmari, Panbazar, and Paltan Bazar police stations. The charges stemmed from allegations that Dey had orchestrated scams, luring victims with promises of providing flats and subsequently looting significant amounts of money.
