In the second phase of polling in Assam's five Lok Sabha constituencies, an estimated 77.35% of the 77.26 lakh eligible voters exercised their franchise, with Nagaon constituency recording the highest turnout at 80.56%.

Among the other constituencies, Darrang-Udalguri saw 78.41% turnout, Silchar (SC) recorded 75.97%, Karimganj 75.63%, and Diphu 73.11%. A total of 61 candidates contested in this phase, with significant battles such as Assam Transport Minister Parimal Suklabaidya facing Congress's Surya Kanta Sarkar in Silchar, and BJP's Amarsing Tisso challenging Congress's Joyram Engleng in Diphu.

The electoral landscape featured prominent clashes, including Nagaon's sitting Congress MP Pradyut Bordoloi against BJP's Suresh Bora, and Karimganj's BJP MP Kripanath Malla against Congress's Hafiz Ahmed Rashid Choudhury. In Darrang-Udalguri, the main contest was between BJP MP Dilip Saikia and former Congress MP Madhab Rajbongshi.

 With a total of 77,26,668 voters, including a significant number of women and persons of the third gender, exercising their franchise across 9,133 polling stations, the election witnessed robust participation amidst heightened security measures, with over 36,000 polling officials and around 40,000 security personnel deployed.
