Bharat Virtual University felicitates Aminul Haque Laskar with Honorary Doctorate
BJP member and Deputy Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly, Aminul Haque Laskar, has been awarded with Honorary Doctorate degree in Social Welfare, Skill Development and Active Politics presented by Bharat Virtual University for Peace and Education.
Bharat Virtual University for Peace and Education is a Bengaluru based private institute. It is a unit of UNIVERSAL CARE FOUNDATION TRUST which is registered with the NITI-AAYOG Government of INDIA.
Recently the institute felicitated eminent BJP politician and Deputy Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly, Mr. Aminul Haque Laskar, with an Honorary Doctorate in Social Welfare, Skill Development and Active Politics.
Mr. Aminul Haque Laskar, who has been very busy with his election campaigning, could not attend the convocation that was organised by the institute in Bengaluru on the 13th of March 2021. Mr. Aminul Haque Laskar submitted his nomination for the Assembly Elections 2021 from the Sonai constituency on 12th March which is why he could not make it to the convocation to receive the degree.
In his latest Facebook post, he expressed his gratitude as he received the Honorary Doctorate from Dr. MM Ahmed, Director and Vice Chairman of the advisory board of Bharat Virtual University for Peace and Education at Assam House, Delhi.
He uploaded a picture of himself receiving the degree from Dr. Ahmed along with a picture of the awarded degree.
He wrote, "Today, I am delighted to receive an honorary doctorate in Social Welfare, Skill Development and Active Politics from Bharat Virtual University for Peace and Education.
This honorary degree was conferred to some selective persons of the country through a convocation organized by Bharat Virtual University for Peace and Education in Bangalore on 13th March.
Due to the nomination submission process of the Assam assembly election on 12th March, I could not attend the convocation of the university in time to receive that award.
So today I am very happy to receive this prestigious award from Dr. M.M Ahmed Director and Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Bharat Virtual University for Peace and Education at Assam House, Delhi.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the authorities of the University including the Director, Registrar, Dean, and especially today I would like to thank all the people of Sonai for this honour."
