Bishal Roy, a student from Visual Arts dept. of Assam University, Silchar sealed a big deal with Adobe Photoshop.

Recently, a boy from Silchar namely, Bishal Roy sealed a big deal with Adobe Photoshop, a raster-based image editing software. He got an opportunity to collab with Adobe Photoshop for which he was sponsored because of his incredible artwork which was published on 9th March, 2023.

It is worth mentioning here that Bishal is the only person from the entire Northeast region to collab with Adobe and the first person from India to create a tutorial on visual artwork.

Bishal is a digital artist by profession with over six years of experience, and also a student of 7th semester in the Department of Visual Arts in Assam University, Silchar.

Besides, he was featured by Expert Photography where he was among the top 30 most influential photoshop artists to follow in 2020. He had also worked with IIT-B where he conducted a workshop on the basics of Photoshop. He even had an NFT Drop with Crypto.com where his illustration generated approximately $30,000 that he donated fully for Ukraine's help aid fund. Not only this, one of his artworks will also be displayed at Artists Village in Times Square, New York as a part of an event named NFT.NYC.

Apart from this, he won the MSI Creator Award 2021 in which his artwork earned the title of Best Visual under the category of Graphic Design. He was also the winner of Ink the Tee, Alcheringa, IITG 2020 and Cursor Strokes, Mood Indigo, IITB, 2021.

Adobe Photoshop is the most used software application for professional digital art, specifically in raster graphics editing. It was developed and published by Adobe Inc. for Windows and macOS. The tool was originally created in 1987 by the American software engineer Thomas Knoll and his brother John Knoll who is currently serving as the Chief creative officer of Industrial Light and Magic.

Adobe also develops and publishes Photoshop Elements, Photoshop Lightroom, Photoshop Express, Photoshop Fix, Adobe Illustrator including Photoshop Mix. In November 2019, Adobe has released a complete version of Photoshop for the iPad and plans to add many more features to Photoshop for iPad.Adobe Photoshop is mainly used for image writing, website designing, project layout, graphics creation, pattern and texture styles, brand style, business,politics and social media.
