Pooja is the founder of a non-profit organisation, "Vedham Foundation" which focuses on women's empowerment and child development. She said the motive behind the trek was to promote the idea of women being strong in every situation of life. Her husband Ripun accompanied her and recorded their adventure on his YouTube channel 'ASSAMOR RIPUN.'
