Kali Shankar Das memorial Bukss media cricket test 2022. The cricket league is organised every year in a franchise manner for every media person of the valley.
The league has started today itself, the first match of the league started from morning 10.00 AM onwards between E-media vs Ruskandi Press Fighters. Rosekandi Press Fighters batted first and scored 100 runs and set a target of 101 runs for E-media. The match is of 11A-Side. The league will continue up to 5 days starting from today. The final will be on the night of 3rd March. The 5 teams are E-media, Ruskandi Press Fighters, Valley Strong, ESE Press Fighters and Karimganj Media Association.
Each day they conduct two matches. The first match of the first day was played between E-media and Ruskandi Press Fighters and the next will be played by the Karimganj Media Association team. As per the league norms, all the matches will be played of 15 overs and only the final match will be played of 20 overs.
Match of the first day between E-media vs Ruskandi press Fighters resulted as,
E-media won by 6 wickets. Anirban Roy Choudhury is declared Man of the match who is also the captain of the E-media team. Man of the moment was declared to Manoj Roy. The super entertainer was Nirupam Das and lastly, Himangshu Ranjan Saha's memory super Sixer was Joydeep Das.
Maksudul Choudhury of the E-media team stated to Explore valley media that the reason behind the big win is their players and their confidence, which led them to win the match and they are expecting to win the final game with some confidence.
Also, Amalaba Das captain of Rosekandi Press Fighters stated to Explore Valley media that, though they lost the first match but are not disappointed with the performance, as per him all the players of his team performed well. When he was asked what will be his preparation for the next match, he answered saying they will be fully and finely prepared for the next match, the loss of the first match won't dim their confidence.
