Cachar to boost their Vaccination Drive; setting up doorstep vaccination for bedridden

Recently India crossed the mark of 102 crore vaccinated people. Assam has vaccinated more than 270 crores out of which 71 lakhs are fully vaccinated. But due to the limited shipment of doses in the cachar district, tye pace of vaccination was slowed down. However, later cachar caught up by creating records of most jabs in one day.

Now cachar health department has decided to boost up its vaccination drive at a fast rate by setting up doorstep vaccination facility for the bedridden who cannot travel to the vaccination centres. The district administration informed that both the first and second dose will be provided to bedridden residents at the doorstep. For
today, 100 first doses and 100 second doses
have been set aside.
