Commercial establishments to shut down at 11 AM: ASDMA
ASDMA just issued a notice to the commercial establishments to shut down at 11 AM from tomorrow.
New restriction orders: Just after being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma is coming up with new ways to contain Covid 19.
In continuation of the order of 12th May 2021 which put restrictions on the movement of vehicles and citizens from 5AM to 2 PM, a new order has come up with alterations in the restrictions. The Chairperson of the State Executive Committee of the State Disaster Management Authority has given the following directions to be strictly followed by the citizens of Assam with effect from 5AM of 16th May 2020 until further orders:
1. All shops and commercial establishments to be closed by 11 AM on all days.
2. All vehicles except for the government vehicles and other vehicles in the list of government orders, will move in accordance with an odd-even formula which has to be enforced by the responsible district authority between 5 AM to 12 PM.
3. All individuals must not move between 12 PM to 5 AM, except for the individuals stated in the previous govt order.
4. Other restrictions of the previous order shall continue with the modification of the timing as stated above.
