Concerns rise as dead body recovered near Silchar Railway Station

In a puzzling incident, the recovery of a deceased individual near Silchar railway station has sparked concerns about the station's security measures.

Despite the presence of two security agencies, questions arise about the effectiveness of the security arrangements in light of the recent discovery.

The incident unfolded when locals stumbled upon the dead body and promptly notified the Tarapur Police Station. Inspector-in-Charge Raju Ranjan De, along with a team, swiftly responded to the scene, recovering the body.

The deceased has been identified as Bhairav Das from Karati village, Rangpur. His wife revealed that Bhairav Das had been missing for the past 4-5 days, and the news of his death reached the locals on Wednesday.

While the police have initiated an investigation into the matter, the circumstances surrounding Bhairav Das's death remain unclear.

The body has been sent to Silchar Medical College for a post-mortem examination, as authorities work to unravel the details of this unfortunate incident.
