COVID-19 vaccine slots timing now fixed by for all the districts.
A huge disturbance has been seen in people regarding the inefficient slot booking patterns in the State, which has been seen to further instigated verbal spats on some occasions.
In the ongoing chaos of vaccination slot booking all over the state, The Department of Health Services (Family Welfare) Assam, on 10th May, has notified that the timing slots for eligible vaccinations are fixed from now on.
People who have registered themselves can hereby book the vaccination slots at 4:00 pm every day at various district health facilities where vaccination is available.
"From today onwards, a common timing will be fixed for all the districts for booking of slots for Covid-19 vaccination in all the districts of Assam. Slot booking time will be open for all from 4 pm every evening in all the districts," said Munindra Nath Ngatey, ACS, Director of Health Services (Family Welfare), Assam, on 10th May 2021.
