Cyclone Remal reaches Barak Valley: Train delays expected

Train services in the Barak Valley region have been canceled as a precaution due to the impending Cyclone Remal. 

Cyclone Remal, which has developed from a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal, is expected to strengthen and bring severe weather, including thunderstorms, strong winds, and heavy rainfall, from May 24 to May 27.

The region is on high alert due to these anticipated conditions.

Despite the cancellations, some train services, such as the Kanchanjangha, remain operational to maintain connectivity in the region.
