Daily Covid-19 Update
In the past 24 hours, India has reported more than 3.60 lakh new COVID-19 cases and nearly 3,300 related deaths. This is the biggest single-day increase since the pandemic began.

(1) In the past 24 hours, India has reported more than 3.60 lakh new COVID-19 cases and nearly 3,300 related deaths. This is the biggest single-day increase since the pandemic began.
(2) According to Health Ministry, 2,61,162 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total active cases to 29,78,709.
(3) Now the total number of Covid-19 Positive cases stands at 1,79,97,267. While the death toll has risen to 2,01,187.
(4) 28,27,03,789 samples have been tested for Covid-19 up to April 27 and on Tuesday 17,23,912 samples were tested for Covid-19. According to an update of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
(5) The total dose of COVID-19 vaccine administered stand exceeds 14,78,27,367 crore, informed the Ministry of Health.
COVID-19 UPDATE ON ASSAM
(1) Today's positivity rate of Covid-19 cases in Assam is 5.49%.
(2) Out of 55480 samples, 3045 samples were tested positive for Coronavirus.
(3) In Kamrup (Metro) the recovery rate of patients from Corona-virus is 90.77%.
(4) On Wednesday, 1,206 peoples were recovered from the coronavirus in Kamrup (Metro), and 22 peoples were died due to the Coronavirus.
COVID-19 UPDATE ON BARAK VALLEY.
(1) Cachar reported 84 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday.
(2) According to the information provided by Suman Chaudhary from the district media, 61 individuals were found positive in the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT), while 23 more were found positive in the RT-PCR test.
(3) 417 air passengers were tested at Tikal Model Hospital, out of which 24 were detected as positive.
