Daily Covid-19 Update

COVID-19 CASES ON INDIA

(1) India recorded 3,79,257 new cases of COVID-19 infections in a single day pushing the total number of cases to 1,83,76,524.

(2) Deaths due to Covid-19 has increased up to 2,04,832 with a record of 3,645 daily cases.

(3) The active Covid-19 cases have increased to 30,84,814 comprising 16.79 % of the total infections, 

(4) The national COVID-19 recovery rate has dropped to 82.10 per cent.

(5) The number of individuals who have recovered from the disease surged to 1,50,86,878.
 
(6) The death rate of the case is further reduced to 1.11 per cent.

(7) According to ICMR, 28,44,71,979 samples have been tested till 28 April.

COVID-19 CASES ON ASSAM.

(1) Today's positivity rate of Covid-19 cases in Assam is 4.58%.

(2) Out of 67278 samples, 3079 samples were found carrying Coronavirus infection.

(3) In Kamrup (Metro) the recovery rate of patients from Corona-virus is 90%

(4) On Thursday, 1,209 peoples were recovered from the coronavirus in Kamrup (Metro), and 26 peoples were died due to the Coronavirus.

COVID-19 UPDATE ON BARAK VALLEY

(1) On 26 April, two people died due to the coronavirus at Silchar Medical College Hospital.

(2) The name of the two patients who died today are Amal Das and Sandhya Bhattacharya.

(3) Amal Das was 50 years old and was admitted to the medical college from the Valley. Hospital on 25 April. He breathed his last at 1:15 p.m. today.
 
(4) Sandhya Bhattacharya, was 64 years old and was taken to the medical college at
9 am today. He was suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure and chest pain. He was also diagnosed with the acute coronary syndrome. He was also diagnosed with coronary heart disease after undergoing a rapid antigen test (RAT) before treatment. He died today at 11:15 p.m.
