E-media beat Rosekandy by 6 wickets, clinched the Bukss trophy of 2022.
Finally, the eventful match came to an end ! The match halted as E-media won by 6 wickets against Rosekandy Press Fighters.
The match started as Rosekandy Press Fighters won the toss and elected to bat first. They were able to put a total of 88 runs on board. Raju Nath bowled incredibly with 3.1 overs. He took 3 wickets and gave only 18 runs. Along with Debashish Shome bowled brilliantly by taking 2 overs within 10 runs. Bishal Das of Rosekandy tried to save the day by batting skilfully . He took 36 runs in 32 balls with a strike rate of 112.50 (4*3) ( 6*1). Rosekandy Press Fighters won the toss and elected to bat first.
Chasing 89runs in 120balls, with a required run-rate of 1.35. E-Media News Rockers chased easily by only loosing 4wickets in 16.1 overs.
Anirban Roy Choudhury again played a good knock with a strike rate of 95.24 (4×2).
Debasish Shome also played a good knock of 22runs in 40balls with a strike rate of 55.00 (6×1).
Debasish Shome was declared Man of the Match in the night of the final.
With the ending of the fest, an interesting phase of sports in Barak Valley came to an end with brilliant players representing their team and showing superb sportsmanship.
