Fire at a shop near Public School Road, Silchar.

Fire bursts out from a shop named Mahavir Store near Old Gopinath Cinema Hall of Public School Road Silchar causing panic among the residents. The flames were so intense that it started spreading to nearby stores.

The residents then informed the Fire and Emergency Services. The Fire department immediately responded by sending their team to the site. The local people offered a helping hand to the firefighters, assisting them in identifying the geographical dimensions of the area.

According to the local people the stores that were engulfed by the flames were Pushpa Stores and Patanjali Store. Eventually the fireman were successful in controlling the fire using their tools and techniques. The locals expressed their gratitude towards the firefighters for their quick response.
