Fire breaks out for the second time in a row in Silchar- This time at Nazirpatty.

A fire broke out in Shipani Lane of Nazirpatty area of Silchar yesterday at around 10:30 pm. Luckily the fire did not cause any casualties and serious property damage.

One of the locals said that he was informed about the fire by one of his friends and he immediately ran to the fire control office.

He said that by the time he had reached the office he saw that the fire truck had already been dispatched. He then informed the District Administration, Cachar.

He also added that due to the smooth cooperation of both the administrations they were able to control the fire in time. 

According to the locals the fire was started because of a Short Circuit in a Shoe shop. The fire then quickly caught to the adjacent shop of cloths and then to the Tailor shop.
