Footpath pedestrians narrowly escape death as speeding tipper truck overturns near E&D Colony

A severe accident occurred at Tarapur Overbridge on Friday night when a recovery van towing a tipper truck lost control near the E&D Colony area. The van crashed into a shop at the bridge's end, causing significant damage.

Fortunately, none of the shop's occupants were injured. However, the van driver sustained injuries and was promptly hospitalized by the police.

The incident caused considerable panic among the locals. The Tarapur police and traffic authorities quickly arrived at the scene to manage the situation. With the help of local residents, the police were able to bring the situation under control.
