Four injured in a Road Mishap at Silchar-Aizawl National Highway
On Wednessday tragedy stuck on the Silchar- Aizawl National Highway no. 306.
The first incident occured at around 3pm infront of Rajghat Oriental School in South Dholai . The collision was between a speeding bajaj pulser motorcycle heading towards Lailapur from Bhagabazar collided with a passenger auto coming from the opposite direction. This collision resulted into injury of 18 year old motor motorcyclist Aftab Hussain Laskar fell a few feet away on the road.Ramiz Uddin Laskar, of 48 years old a resident of Lailapur, also a passenger in the auto is one of the victims of this accident. Lailapur Police Post Incharge Nauchang Siyam arrived at the spot, rescued the injured and took them to the Dholai primary health centre. Further both the patients were referred to Silchar Medical College as their condition worsened.
At the same time, another tragic accident took place at Ramprasadpur in Dholai. A speeding eco van coming from Silchar heading towards Bhagabazar lost control and crashed into a welding shop on the road side and crushed an auto. The auto was completely wringed by the impact of the speeding car. A 14-year-old teenager named Arosh Sheel and a 24-year-old worker of the shop named Vipul Nath were seviourly injured. Kumar Das of Dholai police station reached at the spot and rescued the injured and sent them to the Silchar Medical College . They also took the two cars involved in the accident into their custody.
