Gas tanker suddenly catches fire at Ramnagar

A devastating fire broke out in the Ramnagar area of Silchar, instigated by a moving gas transport tanker on Thursday morning. The rapid spread of flames sparked panic throughout the vicinity, prompting immediate response from the fire brigade. Despite initial challenges in extinguishing the fire, diligent efforts by firefighting personnel eventually led to the situation being brought under control. 

In a bid to contain the blaze and prevent further damage, authorities made the decision to relocate the tanker from the densely populated area to a safer, secluded location with the assistance of kereng vehicles. This strategic maneuver helped mitigate the risk of the fire engulfing nearby structures and ensured the safety of residents in the immediate vicinity. Though the incident initially posed a grave threat to the area, swift action by the fire brigade played a crucial role in averting a larger disaster and preserving the community's safety for the time being.
