Guwahati police arrested two for desecrating Lord Ram poster

Two individuals, including a minor aged 14 from Dhubri and an 18-year-old named Mohidul Haque from Mukalmua, have been apprehended by the police for their alleged involvement in the defacement of a poster depicting Lord Ram in Guwahati's Shankar Nagar area on April 28.

Both suspects were working as laborers in the city at the time of the incident. According to an official from the Fatasil Ambari police station, the accused not only vandalized the poster but also targeted other properties in the locality. They have been detained, and legal proceedings are underway.
