Heroin bust: Ramnathpur police seize 59 gm of heroin, suspect arrested

In a significant drug bust, the Officer-in-Charge of Ramnathpur Police Station, along with his team, successfully recovered and seized 59 grams of heroin.

The illicit substance was found in five plastic soap cases in the possession of Aftaruddin Barbhuiyan, son of the late Nur Ali Barbhuiyan, a resident of Jamira Baganbasti under Ramnathpur Police Station.

The operation led to the immediate arrest of Aftaruddin Barbhuiyan. Following the seizure, Barbhuiyan was taken into custody and is being forwarded to judicial custody as the investigation continues.

This seizure marks a critical step in the ongoing efforts by Ramnathpur Police to combat drug trafficking in the region.
