High-speed collision on Silchar Panchayat Road leaves biker seriously injured

A grave road accident occurred on Saturday night at Panchayat Road, Silchar, resulting in severe injuries to a motorcycle rider. The incident took place when a four-wheeler, registered as S-11 7910, collided with the motorcycle at high speed. The force of the impact threw the biker onto the road, leading to critical injuries.

Local residents promptly contacted the traffic division and police, who arrived at the scene shortly after. With the help of local bystanders, the injured biker was rushed to Silchar Medical College Hospital for treatment. It has been reported that the biker is a resident of Ranguirkhari, Silchar.

Witnesses to the accident claimed that the collision was caused by the four-wheeler driver losing control of the vehicle, allegedly due to driving under the influence of alcohol. This has prompted local residents to call for stringent measures against drunk driving to prevent similar incidents in the future.
