Hindu Jagran Mancha, Birangana Bahini celebrated 'Raksha Bandhan Utsav' at the Inaugural wedding at National highway silchar.
Raksha Bandhan is an important festival for Hindus. On this day every sister ties Rakhi on wrists of a brothers to protect them against evil influence and prays for or their long life and happiness the brothers in turn promise their sisters that they will protect them from any harm.
To celebrate this occasion, Virangana Vahini of Hindu Jagran initiated "Rakshabandhan Utsav." It was celebrated in full compliance with the Cowid Protocol at around 11:30 in the morning at Shubharambh Bibaha Bashar at National Highway, Silchar.
Hon'ble Shri Subrata Das (keynote speaker) and Hindu Jagran Mancha Prantha Vice President Shri Sanjeev Sinha Mahasaya were present.
