HS Final Exams 2024 to be held from February 12: AHSEC announces schedule 

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has disclosed the official schedule for the Higher Secondary (HS) Final Year Examinations, providing relief to students throughout the state. The examinations are scheduled to commence on February 12 and will conclude on March 13, 2024.

As per a recently issued press statement by AHSEC, the practical exams for HS final-year students are slated to occur from January 24 to February 8, 2024. This crucial component of the examination process is crafted to assess the practical knowledge and skills of students across various subjects.

To manage the substantial number of candidates, the examination sessions will be bifurcated into two shifts. The morning shift is designated from 9 AM to 11 AM, while the afternoon shift is set from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. This decision aims to streamline the examination process, ensuring a smooth experience for both students and examiners.

In an effort to provide students with adequate time to acquaint themselves with the question papers, AHSEC has implemented a provision of 10 extra minutes before the commencement of both shifts. This additional time is intended to enable students to carefully read and comprehend the questions, thereby enhancing their ability to effectively present their knowledge during the examination.
