Husband kills wife for dowry at Karimganj

The body of a housewife was recovered from Hararamukh village in the Serulbagh Marera area of Karimganj. The name of the rescued housewife is Asia Begum.
Police recovered the body from the kitchen. Finger has been pointed at Khairul Huda.

There are also allegations that Khairul himself called his father-in-law's house on Wednesday afternoon and told him to take their daughter's dead body.
Upon hearing the news of the untoward incident, the relatives including Asiya's father rushed from their village Badejama. Haider Ali, in charge of the Girishganj outpost, also rushed to the spot and they rescued the body. The villagers did not allow the body to be taken without the magistrate, so the circle officer had to go there. On the other hand, Khairul fled after watching the situation. Along with the rope marks on the neck, there are other marks on the body, police said. Later, the circle officer sent the body from the spot to Karimganj Civil for autopsy. The whole area was in mourn after the incident.
