IHRC submits a memorandum for the dysfunction of the health sub-centre in Pathakhauri

The functioning of the health centres is a vital necessity in any area. Falling under this notion comes those located in GP areas as well. However, a health sub-centre located in Pathakhauri is seen to be functioning otherwise.

International Human Rights Commission has submitted a memorandum to the Public Grievance Cell of Karimganj Board through President Santosh Namsudra for the same.

It states the dysfunctioning of a health sub-centre which is located at GP of Pathakhauri. The mentioned sub-centre was built in 2015. The sub-centre has undoubtedly brought relief to the natives, but this relief didn't last long.

In the present scenario, there are no doctors, no health check-up facilities, which are the mere basics, available at the hospital, resulting in difficulty for the local people to avail themselves of simple treatment.

The president of IHRC has reported to the authority of that area and the Executive President of the North-East Board, Adv Arkadeep Bhattacharyya, to take necessary steps immediately. He also assured that if the matter doesn't get solved, he'll report the same to the Govt of Assam and Govt of India.
