Important guidelines issued by ASDMA regarding Recruitment and Entrance examination for higher education.
These important guidelines will be in effect from July 14, 2021.
The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) has vide order of July 6, 2021 issued directives for containment in covid-19 in both rural and urban areas across the state until further orders which stipulates to meeting/gathering at open or closed spaces.
Requests have been received from various departments/organisations/agencies for conducting recruitment/entrance examinations across the state on offline mode for the greater interest of the candidates.
Therefore in the exercise of the powers, conferred under section 22(2) (h) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005. Assam do hereby allows to recruitment and entrance examinations for higher education with the following directives that will be in effect from July 14, 2021.
◼️ Recruitment and entrance examinations for higher education are permitted across the state with strict adherence to maintenance of covid-19 protocols including observance of Covid appropriate behaviour by all concerned.
◼️ The examinations should be conducted with 50% of seating capacity of the examination hall or 50 candidates whichever is lower. Also not more than 200 candidates should be allowed to take examination at any centre in a shift.
◼️ Such candidates appearing in the said examinations will be exempted from the restrictions on inter-district movement, movement during curfew hours odd-even formula of vehicular movement in urban areas on production of valid admit card.
