India Club beats Vishwanath Blue Warriors by 8 wickets in Assam Premier Club Cup

Silchar's India Club clinched another victory in the final round of the Assam Premier Club Cup, defeating Vishwanath Blue Warriors by eight wickets at Judges Field in Guwahati.

 Led by Ranji star Pervez Musharraf, who showcased stellar batting skills, and supported by Prashant Kumar's impressive performance, India Club chased down the target of 150 runs set by Blue Warriors, with Parvez scoring 66 and Prashant falling just short of his second consecutive half-century by one run. India Club's bowlers, including Swarupam Purkayastha, Diwakar Zahri, and Sudarshan Sinha, contributed with crucial wickets to restrict Blue Warriors to 150 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs.

Having won three out of four matches in the tournament, India Club's next challenge awaits against Super Touch Club of Tezpur, a crucial match essentially serving as a quarter-final for both teams.

The victor will secure a coveted spot in the semi-finals, highlighting the stakes and intensity of the upcoming clash. With their recent string of victories and impressive performances, India Club of Silchar aims to continue their winning streak and advance further in the tournament.
