India Club of Silchar beat Super Touch Club of Tezpur by 6 wickets to enter the semi-finals of the APCC Final Round

The India Club of Silchar has secured a coveted spot in the semi-finals of the Assam Premier Club Cup, marking a historic milestone in regional cricket. Their victory over the Super Touch Club of Tezpur showcased exceptional performance and determination, securing a 6-wicket win at Judges Field.

 Led by Ranji star Swarupam Purkayastha's explosive 33-run innings and supported by notable contributions from Prashant Kumar, Rehan Jamil Majumder, and Raju Das, the India Club displayed their prowess on the field.

Despite a valiant effort from the Super Touch Club, led by Abhijit Bhadra's 33 runs, the India Club's bowlers, particularly Dibakar Johri, proved instrumental in restricting their opponents to 144 runs for eight wickets.

However, lapses in fielding and an expensive over in the late stages allowed the Super Touch Club to reach a competitive total. Nevertheless, the India Club's resilience shone through as they successfully chased down the target, with Swarupam's stellar performance guiding them to victory.
