In response, External Affairs Minister (EAM) highlighted PM Modi's Tejas sortie as a statement of Atmanirbhar Bharat and a boost to Make in India. The EAM emphasized the Prime Minister's commitment to the nation's defense.

Meanwhile, TMC's Kunal Ghosh dismissed Sen's remarks as unrelated to the Tejas issue, attributing them to BJP's pre-election politics. Ghosh accused BJP of shifting focus from essential issues, stating, "Tejas is a separate thing. What are his (PM Modi's) intentions?...Tejas is not the subject...He is deviating from the issues of 'roti-kapda-makaan.'"

The Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) recently delivered the first Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) twin-seater trainer version to the Indian Air Force (IAF).
