Indian Railways Announces Revised Train Numbers Effective from July 1, 2024
Indian Railways has announced the revision of several train numbers in its new timetable, which will come into effect on July 1, 2024. The following details outline the changes:
Revised Train Numbers
1. Train No. 12523 from NIP to NDLS will be renumbered as 15725.
2. Train No. 12524 from NDLS to NJP will be renumbered as 15726.
3. Train No. 12520 from AGTL to LTT will be renumbered as 15660.
4. Train No. 12519 from LTT to AGTL will be renumbered as 15659.
5. Train No. 12504 from AGTL to SMVB will be renumbered as 15674.
6. Train No. 12503 from SMVB to AGTL will be renumbered as 15673.
7. Train No. 12508 from SCL to TVC will be renumbered as 15678.
8. Train No. 12507 from TVC to SCL will be renumbered as 15677 and 15680.
9. Train No. 12510 from GHY to SMVB will remain unchanged.
10. Train No. 12509 from SMVB to GHY will be renumbered as 15679.
11. Train No. 12514 from SCL to SC will be renumbered as 15684.
12. Train No. 12513 from SC to SCL will be renumbered as 15683.
13. Train No. 12516 from SCL to CBE will be renumbered as 15676.
14. Train No. 12515 from CBE to SCL will be renumbered as 15675.
15. Train No. 22504 from DBRG to CAPE will be renumbered as 15906.
16. Train No. 22503 from CAPE to DBRG will be renumbered as 15905.
Additional Changes
Due to a change in terminal from MLDT (ER) to BLGT (NFR), the following trains will also have revised numbers:
1. Train No. 13413 from BLGT to BTI will be renumbered as 15733.
2. Train No. 13414 from BTI to BLGT will be renumbered as 15734.
3. Train No. 13483 from BLGT to BTI will be renumbered as 15743.
4. Train No. 13484 from BTI to BLGT will be renumbered as 15744.
General Instructions
- *Publicity*: Adequate publicity will be given for the information of the traveling public, and BULK SMS notifications will be issued.
- *System Updates*: Necessary inputs will be done in NTES, ICMS, and PRS systems.
- *Action Required*: All concerned parties are requested to note and act accordingly.
