Innovation leads to success - This Barak Valley Entrepreneur is an Example

Growing up in Silchar, many people fail to find proper resources to get a government job or succeed as government employee. What is the real reason behind this? Is it because of lack of resources or lack of efforts? It's neither. The most basic problem faced by youth is the lack of awareness regarding the job profiles. The available resources are just not what is needed to understand the work profile of any job. 

Rajan Nath is a 22-year-old entrepreneur who once aspired to become a government employee and faced the issue. He had resources but they were neither well structured nor understandable. He was in his 2nd year of his undergraduate degree when he got a job in the postal department. 

"When I was to join Indian Postal Services I was confused and uncertain. I did not know what my job requirements were. What would be doing in the postal department. I tried to find out from Google and YouTube but got nothing. I was an undergraduate student in 2nd year of my BSc in Gurucharan College. I knew that the job would kick start my career but hamper my academics. I had to decide if the job was worth the risk." Rajan told Explore Valley.
Ultimately he had to let go of the job for that time being. He then decided to start his own YouTube channel for people joining postal department. By gathering informations regarding the Indian Postal Service he understood the knowledge that is required to work in the department and started to provide the same. He provided regular updates related to the postal department. His sessions were about applying for positions in postal department, the work profile of every position available, the procedure of working in the postal department. He helped the postal employees work more efficiently and achieve better positions in their career. 

"I started my journey as an YouTuber in the year 2017 with my old Android phone that cost was that cost me around Rs. 7000 and my old Nokia earphones. If we want to do something and we are determined to do it then we will find the resources. Determination matters," he further added. 

Today his channel ePostal Network and has more than one lakh subscribers. He earned the Silver Play Botton in the beginning of 2020. Eight months ago he started his own online institute. Enrollments were received from all 23 Postal Circles that is 28 States and 8 Union territories of India. After the first result declaration, huge number of employees got promoted to new higher post. They provide the enrolled employees with high-quality study materials and online facilities like Daily mock tests, Handmade Notes, Revision Test and Daily Lectures.

Rajan Nath proved that 'where there is a will, there is a way'. At the age of 22 his monthly earning is more than 2 lakh. He is an inspiration to the youth of Barak Valley. At the end of our conversation, Rajan Nath said, "Our youth lacks the innovation and motivation that is required to do great things. I see youngsters spending their days playing games on their phones. I wonder what they could've done if they had shown the same intensity of dedication in something worth doing."
