Cholo Hath Barai, a respected non-governmental organization dedicated to nurturing youth creativity and education, recently orchestrated a dynamic Inter-School Art Competition in partnership with the esteemed Omkar Art School. The event, hosted at the Niranjan Paul Institute on August 13th, 2023, was a platform for budding artists from numerous schools to express their artistic flair.

The competition kicked off at 11:30 AM and continued for two hours, offering 156 students from over 15 schools the chance to channel their creativity onto the canvas. The event garnered enthusiastic participation, as young artists eagerly showcased their talents and visions. The culmination of the competition was the eagerly anticipated prize distribution ceremony, held from 1:45 PM to around 4:00 PM, which recognized the extraordinary artistic prowess demonstrated by the participants.

Distinguished personalities graced the occasion, adding prestige to the event. Notably, Mr. Sujit Das Choudhury, the President of Kaibarta Samaj Unnoyon Parishad, and Mrs. Sarbani Goswami, Director of Rhyming Kids Corner & SD Academy, served as Chief Guests. The expert judgment of Mr. Shyamal Saha, Principal of Puspa Chitra Niketan Art School, contributed to the evaluation process, while Mr. Harshajit Das, Principal of Omkar Art School, played a vital role as an Associate Partner. Generous sponsorship by Mr. Ratan Das, owner of Arati Cake Art, bolstered the event's impact and supported artistic development within the community.

The competition encompassed three categories catering to different age groups and skill levels. The winners were celebrated in each category, exemplifying exceptional creativity and dedication. Notable winners included Shubhangi Mazumder from Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Kshounish Das from Hiron Prova Dev Sishu Mandir, and Priya Das from M.M. Balika Vidya Niketan High School, who secured the top positions in their respective categories.

The Inter-School Art Competition, a collaborative effort by Cholo Hath Barai and Omkar Art School, not only celebrated artistic expression but also fostered camaraderie and healthy competition among diverse schools.
