Justice denied: After filing land dispute case, victim appeals to SP amidst threats

Islam Uddin Ahmed, a resident of Bidruhipar village in East Sonair Hatikhal GP, has been facing threats and intimidation in connection with a land dispute.

Despite filing a case at Kochudharam police station on April 30, 2024, in English, seeking justice for his land-related matter, Islam Uddin has not received any progress or cooperation from the authorities even after 10 days.

The defendant in the case has been threatening Islam Uddin with various forms of intimidation, creating a hostile environment for him. Fearing for his safety and seeking justice, Islam Uddin has now taken the matter to the Cachar Superintendent of Police and District Magistrate.

In a written complaint submitted to the authorities, Islam Uddin highlighted the lack of investigation and support from the police and the ongoing threats he is facing.

In a bid to raise awareness and seek assistance, Islam Uddin has also reached out to the media, appealing for justice and ensuring his safety amidst the escalating tensions in the land dispute.

The community is now awaiting a response from the authorities to address the concerns raised by Islam Uddin and ensure a fair resolution to the ongoing dispute.
