Karimganj DC issued notice to carve the Surge of Covid 19
Karimganj Deputy Commissioner on Thursday issued notice to carve the Surge of Covid 19.
The covid situation has not been any good in any of the districts of Assam. The Deputy Commissioner of Karimganj and DDMA, hereby, published a notice to control the outburst.
The notice, dated 12th May, 2021 states:
In pursuance of the powers conferred upon me under US 30(2)(v) (2) (v) & (2) (xxx) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, I. Anbamuthan M. P. IAS, District Magistrate & Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Karimganj, do hereby direct that the guidelines for effective control of COVID-19 issued by Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASOMA), Dispur, Guwahati-8, vide Order No ASDMA 24/2020/P1-2/2-41, dtd. 12/05/2021 (copy annexed) shall come into force with effect from 5 AM of 13th May 2021 until further orders. This order will be applicable in Municipal Board/Revenue Town and peripheral areas of Karimganj district as mentioned below:
1) Jurisdiction of Karimganj Municipal Board and Its peripheral areas including Fakira Bazar, Girishganj Bazar, Chorgulla Bazar, Suprakandi Bazar, Sonibari Bazar and Ranibari Bazar
2) Jurisdiction of Badarpur Municipal Board and its peripheral areas including Bhanga Bazar, Jhumbasti, Marzalkandi Bazar, Anglarbazar, Rakesh Nagar Bazaar and Bagargool Bazar.
3) Jurisdiction of Ramkrishna Nagar Municipal Board and its peripheral areas including Ratabari Bazar, Fakua Bazar, Kalibari Bazar, Dargarbond Bazar, Bhairabnagar, Chamela Bazar, Nivia Bazar, Anipur Bazar and Duriavcherra Bazar
4) Patharkandi Ravenue Town and its peripheral areas Including Kanaibazar, Chandkhira Bazar, Block Bazar, Lakhipur Bazar, Asimganj Bazar and Kanalbazar,
5) Nilambazar and its peripheral areas including Iswarsree Bazar, Kaliganj Bazar, Baraigram
