Karimganj police seize Rs 2 crore worth of heroin in Badarpur raid

Karimganj Police conducted a successful raid in Badarpur, seizing heroin valued at nearly Rs 2 crore. The operation, prompted by a tip-off, led to the arrest of Shihab Uddin, who was found with the drugs concealed in soap cases inside a truck. The heroin was suspected to be smuggled from Silchar.

Following the arrest, Shihab Uddin is being interrogated at Badarpur police station. This significant drug bust highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to combat narcotics trafficking in the region.
