Karni Sena threatens Akshay Kumar's 'Prithviraj' demands to change the name or face Padmaavat-like consequences

Karni Sena has raised objections to a Bollywood film once again. The Sena, which has a record of raising objections to some films earlier which include Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi, Padmaavat and Article 15 among others, has this time come up with demanding changes in Akshay Kumar starter Prithviraj, and if not done so, as warned by the Sena, the makers will have to bear the consequences, that were faced during the release of Padmaavat.

The president of the Youth Wing of the Karni Sena Filmmaker Surjeet Singh Rathore, has appealed that the title of the film should be changed, as the film is named as 'Prithviraj' which is based on the great Prithviraj Chauhan. 

He says that this in no way shows respect to the great warrior, hence to do so, the name should be changed to 'Prithviraj Chauhan' and furthermore added that, failing to do so the makers have to bear similar consequences as faced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and team, which will not be a peaceful one in any way, including threats and what not.

The Film, Directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Aditya Chopra stars Manushi Chillar as Samyukta, seen as Prithviraj Chauhan’s wife, apart from Akshay Kumar playing the titular role.

Now it is for time to see where these threats and consequences lead to.
