Kathigorah Sub Registrar's Office Faces Allegations of Illegal Brokering, Demands for Action

In a startling revelation, allegations of illegal land brokering and corruption have surfaced against individuals operating within the Kathigorah sub registrar's office in Cachar district. Despite previous arrests and orders from Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma, individuals like Hibrul Islam Mazharbhuiya, Ruhul Amin, and Santhosh Kumar Dasera continue to operate unchecked, allegedly engaging in illegal land transactions.

Morib Khalilur Rahman Chowdhury, a licensed individual associated with the Kathigorah Sub-Registrar Office, filed a formal complaint with evidence, accusing Hibrul Islam Mazharbhuiya of extortion and involvement in corrupt activities. He claimed that despite previous arrests, Hibrul Islam continues to operate as a broker, influencing the functioning of the office and hindering licensed individuals from fulfilling their duties.

The situation has raised questions among the public, especially concerning how Hibrul Islam was allowed to continue operating as a document writer despite his alleged involvement in illegal activities. Khalilur Rahman demanded immediate action, urging the cancellation of deed writing licenses for Ruhul Amin and Hibrul Islam Mazharbhuiya. He emphasized the need for a thorough legal investigation to establish a land mafia and broker-free environment within the Kathigara sub registrar's office.
